Regine May, treated us to an excellent introduction to both the ancient novel and the Bollywood movie, revealing that potentially hackneyed romantic motifs and cross-cultural resonances can be indicative of societies negotiating their own identity during periods of cultural change. More simply, love at first is not escapist but essential – a wonderful thing for Chic Lit fans to hear and a great justification to rent Bollywood films (as if one was needed)!

  1. This is a message to the webmaster. I discovered your “Bollywood and Athens Talks by Experts on Classics” page via Google but it was hard to find as you were not on the first page of search results. This means you are missing out on a lot of website traffic from the search engines. I have found a website which offers to dramatically increase your rankings and traffic to your site: http://www.linklegends.com/7-day-free-trial. They managed to get close to 1000 visitors/day using their services, you could also get lot more targeted visitors from search engines than you have now. I used their services and got significantly more visitors to my website. Hope this helps 🙂 Take care.
